►Brief Description
Covidien ValleyLab Force FX is a high-power digital electrosurgical device. The Valleylab ESU features computer-controlled instant-response technology to ensure consistent clinical results across all tissue types. This instant-response technology recognizes 200 tissue changes per second and adjusts voltage and current to maintain proper power. Valleylab Force FX allows the generator to be activated using a handheld device or foot switch control, giving surgeons the advantage of being able to precisely deliver the selected power setting, even to resistant tissue.
A group of devices used to generate and apply radio frequency (RF) alternating current to soft tissue for cutting and coagulation during endoscopic or open surgical procedures, but are not designed for localized ablation of specific tissue. When electricity flows between electrodes in the body, tissue resistance to the current creates heat.
The Valleylab Force FX is an isolated output electrosurgical generator that provides power for cutting, desiccation, and cauterization of tissue during surgery. This generator is used for bipolar and monopolar electrosurgery.
